Payment & Insurance

This is an area which often causes stress. There’s no way around that completely, but if you have any questions, whatsoever, please feel free to email me.

Each of our sessions together will be 50 minutes long.

 

Payment

I take cash, checks or Venmo (@Laura-Glanville-1). I do not take credit cards. Payment is expected at the time of service, ie. after each session.

Insurance

I don’t participate with any insurance companies; however, I will provide an invoice for you to submit for Out-of-Network Benefits.

Out-of-Network Benefits:

Most insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, meaning they will partially reimburse you for fees paid for therapy, if you submit a receipt. It would be up to you to call your insurance company to:

  1. check your Out-of-Network Benefits
  2. ask me for a receipt for paid sessions
  3. submit the receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy:

I require 24 hours notice for cancellation of a session, regardless of the reason for cancelling. (Less than 24 hours notice generally does not allow enough time for someone else to take that time slot.) If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee; however I will waive the cancellation fee, if you are willing to come, or schedule a phone session, at offered times, the same week.
