Family members of Narcissistic or Personality Disordered Individuals

Living with a narcissist can feel very lonely. I offer an understanding ear, validation of your experience and techniques for self-preservation.

Food

I offer a direct and accessible approach to help you identify the eating behaviors you’d like to change, deal with the underlying emotions that may be influencing your current habits, alongside building and maintaining healthy eating patterns.

In addition to 1:1 coaching, I run therapy groups if you are seeking help with binge eating or any other type of eating challenge. The groups are more affordable and often have a powerful effect on each group member given the offer of peer support, observations and advice.

Anxiety/Depression

Many life circumstances including, a loss of a loved one, a divorce, a traumatic event, a difficult past or for no apparent cause, can bring on anxiety and or depression.

Through exploratory conversations, using therapeutic practices, we can draw out insights and lean on a variety of accessible tools to relieve your symptoms.  

In addition, if you use self-harm behaviors such as cutting or scratching I can guide you to see more effective and productive ways of dealing with overwhelming emotions. I can also help your loved ones understand the relief these self-harm behaviors bring and how they too can support you moving forward.

If you find yourself involved with a partner who views the world only in terms of him/herself, lacks empathy for others and elicits incomprehensible actions that healthy individuals cannot imagine, I can help you navigate these disturbing behaviors and give you much needed relief by validating your experiences and guiding you towards habits of self-preservation.

Teens & Adolescents

Getting along with your parents or even peers can be challenging. Sometimes talking with a therapist makes the transition from a teenager to adult a lot easier and less stressful.

I can help you navigate any number of daily life struggles. Subjects like divorcing parents, eating issues, decisions around what school to attend, what to become involved in or outside of school, how to navigate friendships and social situations, are just a sampling of the topics I have deep experience in helping you work through.
